Just started Nipent (Pentostatin) 10mg Inj, for Hairy Cell Leukemia - Any advice or shared experiences?
I was just diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia and my doctor prescribed Nipent (Pentostatin) 10mg Inj, 1 vial. Has anyone else been on this medication and can share their experiences? I'm really nervous about the side effects, especially the urgent ones. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I want to be prepared for this journey.

My partner went through this and it sucked, but they're cancer-free now. Keep your head up, the worst days will end.
Keep a journal of your symptoms and side effects. It helped me keep track and communicate better with my doctor.
I had terrible mouth sores and itching. Talk to your doctor about medications to manage these symptoms! Good luck!
I've been through this before, it's tough but doable. Stay hydrated and listen to your body. It’s important to have a good support system.
