I was prescribed Lofibra 134mg Capsules to help manage my high triglyceride levels. I've been taking them for a couple of weeks now, and while I'm hopeful about the results, I'm also a bit nervous about the potential side effects. The list is quite long, and some of them sound pretty serious. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Specifically, I'm curious about any less common side effects that might not be immediately apparent. Were there any red flags that I should be aware of? Also, how do you manage these if they do happen? Any advice on coping mechanisms would be greatly appreciated. I want to stay informed and prepared, so feel free to share any insights you have. Thanks in advance!

I've had stomach pain, but it's manageable with over-the-counter meds. I'd rather deal with that than the risk of heart disease, though. Just keep an eye out for any severe symptoms and talk to your doctor regularly.

I had a really bad allergic reaction to Lofibra. Swelling and difficulty breathing sent me to the hospital. Definitely listen to your body and seek help if you feel anything unusual.

Just started Lofibra and so far, so good. Knocking on wood, I am not experiencing any side effects, but I'll keep taking it easy and listen to my body. Stay positive, everyone!

Be very careful with this medication. I had to stop taking it because I started experiencing severe joint pain. It was awful, and I had to go to the ER. Hoping for others this won't happen.

Anyone else feel a bit anxious about the possibility of severe skin reactions? I have no idea how I would even notice something like Stevens-Johnson syndrome until it's too late!

I was lucky and didn't experience any of the serious side effects, but I did have some muscle pain. My doctor said it was probably just a mild reaction and to stay hydrated and rest more. It got better quickly.

Why do these medications have to have such nasty potential side effects? I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard. I just turned 50 and I can't imagine dealing with this on top of everything else.
