My experience with Junel FE 1.5/30 Tablets 28s - Any other users have weird side effects?
I've been on Junel FE 1.5/30 for about three months now, and I must say, it's been a roller coaster. The first month was fine, but the last two months have been a bit rough. I've had some spotting and mood swings, which are apparently common, but I've also been experiencing some really intense headaches and dizziness. I'm not sure if these are serious side effects or just part of the adjustment period. I know everyone's experience is different, but has anyone else had similar issues? Also, I noticed that the last week of pills are iron tablets. Has anyone else noticed a difference in their energy levels during that week? I feel like I have a bit more energy, but I'm not sure if it's just in my head. Anyway, would love to hear some of your experiences and tips for dealing with any side effects!

I was miserable on this pill, had to switch to something different. I ended up going with the mini pill and it was a game changer.
I feel like the side effects are less bad than most other brands, but the worst part is the mood swings. Next time I go to the doctor, I might ask about the right type of birth control for me.
I love the iron pills at the end. My energy levels definitely improved. Just make sure to drink plenty of water!
If the headaches and dizzy spells are as intense as you say, get to the doctor ASAP. It could be serious. I had something similar on another pill and I'm glad I went in.
I had a friend who had bad side effects from this pill. She switched to a different birth control and it helped her a lot. Everyone’s body is different, though.
I've been on Junel FE for a year now and had similar headaches at first. They went away after a few months. Hope it does the same for you!
Spotting is normal at first, but if it persists, you should talk to your doctor. It could be a sign of something more serious. The headaches should go away, but if they don't, definitely mention them to your doctor.
Be careful with the iron pills! They can cause constipation. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat plenty of fiber.
Junel FE helped with my acne but caused severe mood swings. I had to switch to a different pill. Be careful!
Dizziness and headaches are common but if they get severe or you have other worrying symptoms (like chest pain, vision problems, or severe abdominal pain), go to the ER immediately. Better safe than sorry!
