I was recently prescribed Potassium Cl 2meq/ml Inj 30ml to correct my low potassium levels, and I must admit, the list of possible side effects is downright terrifying. I've read about everything from allergic reactions to tissue damage at the injection site. Has anyone else had to deal with these issues? I'm especially worried about the allergic reactions and high potassium levels. Anyone have any tips on managing these? Deep breath and let's talk.

You're going to be OK. I've had it a few times and always felt better after.

I had severe hives and had to stop. It's not worth the risk for me. Maybe talk to your doctor about other options?

I've never heard anyone mention these side effects before. I think you might be overreacting. I'd definitely keep taking it if I was you.

I experienced a lot of dizziness, which was weird. I had to just lay down and wait for it to pass.

Nah, I've never had any issues. The doctor knows what they're doing, don't stress.

Dude, this is scary. I would definitely be talking to my doctor before continuing. What do they have to say?

My nurse told me to call if there's any issue, but no problems so far. Guess I'm lucky?

The thing about tissue damage is a bit too much. Double-check any redness or pain around the injection site.

I've had this before and it was rough. Make sure to stay hydrated and keep an eye on your electrolytes. Side effects can be managed, but it's not fun. Good luck!
