I've been prescribed Demadex 5mg Tablets to help with my edema caused by heart failure. I've read that one of the rare but serious side effects can be hearing loss, especially in people with kidney problems. I've had kidney issues in the past, so I'm a bit concerned. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Should I be worried, or is this side effect very uncommon? I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken this medication and has some insights.

I've been prescribed Demadex (Torsemide) 100mg tablets for my heart failure and edema. I've noticed they're quite effective in managing fluid retention, but I'm curious about others' experiences. Have you encountered any severe side effects or is it generally well tolerated? I read about the urgent side effects, how many people do they affect? I've noticed some dizziness and increased thirst, but nothing too alarming. I'd love to hear if anyone has tips for managing these or other side effects.
