I've been prescribed Demadex (Torsemide) 100mg tablets for my heart failure and edema. I've noticed they're quite effective in managing fluid retention, but I'm curious about others' experiences. Have you encountered any severe side effects or is it generally well tolerated? I read about the urgent side effects, how many people do they affect? I've noticed some dizziness and increased thirst, but nothing too alarming. I'd love to hear if anyone has tips for managing these or other side effects. Also, how does Demadex compare to other diuretics like Lasix? Does anyone know if Demadex can affect your ears? I am starting to experience some hearing problems. I have also developed a little rash and feel jittery. Time to call the doctor? Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

I’ve been on Demadex for a while and haven’t had any major issues. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your electrolyte levels. Plus, I’ve found that drinking lots of water helps with the dizziness.

I've been on Demadex for a few months now and haven't experienced any severe side effects. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your electrolyte levels. However, you need to get to your doctor now if you are experiencing any of those symptoms mentioned!

I switched from Lasix to Demadex and found it to be much more effective. No more constant trips to the bathroom! But yeah, the dizziness can be tough. Make sure you stand up slowly.

I’ve had some muscle weakness and cramps. My doctor said it might be due to electrolyte imbalances. Make sure you’re getting enough potassium and magnesium.

Demadex has been fine for me, but I've had some weird taste issues. Nothing major, just a metallic taste in my mouth. Anybody else get that?

Demadex has been a lifesaver for me. No more swelling in my legs, and my blood pressure is much better controlled. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your electrolyte levels to avoid the side effects which will be a game changer!

I took Demadex and felt like I was going to pass out every time I stood up. My doctor had me switch to a lower dose, and it’s been much better. Start with half a pill
