I was prescribed the SF 1.1% Mint Gel 56gm to help rebuild my enamel and protect against cavities. The packaging says it has a high concentration of fluoride, which is supposed to make teeth stronger. I've been using it for a few weeks and it seems to be working but I was reading on the side effects and I'm a bit concerned. I've been a bit scared of the allergic reactions and severe stomach upset mentioned but I want to know more from other users. Has anyone experienced any of these side effects or had a similar reaction? Here's the information I have so far. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for using this gel safely. I want to protect my teeth, but I don't want to risk my health.

I just had my wisdom teeth pulled and the dentist used Xylocaine-Mpf 2% Inj, 5ml for the anesthesia. I've read about the potential side effects, but I'm still nervous. Has anyone else had this and experienced any of the more serious side effects like methemoglobinemia or acidosis? I'm trying to stay calm, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything important. Also, what should I expect in the next few days as I recover? The dentist said some numbness and minor burning would be normal, but I just don't know what to look for.
