Potassium Supplement Worries: My Experience with Effer-K 25meq Effervesc Tabs Orange

I've been taking Effer-K 25meq Effervesc Tabs Orange for a few months now to manage low potassium levels and prevent kidney stones. The tablets are easy to take and dissolve quickly in water. They have a pleasant orange flavor, which makes them bearable. However, I've had some mild side effects, like stomach pain and gas, which is a bit concerning. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? How have you managed them? Additionally, what are your thoughts on the urgent side effects listed? Are they common, or am I overreacting? I have also noticed some improvements in my overall energy levels, which could be due to the potassium. It's hard to say for sure, though. I'm just glad I don't have to worry about kidney stones as much anymore. I'm curious to hear if anyone has any tips on how to make the most of this medication. I've been thinking about diet changes that could complement the effects of Effer-K. For example, are there any foods rich in potassium that could work synergistically with this supplement? I'm sure there are some people who know a lot more than I do, so please share your experiences and knowledge.

Has anyone had success with Urocit-K 540mg (5meq) Tablets for preventing kidney stones?

I've recently been prescribed Urocit-K 540mg (5meq) Tablets to help prevent kidney stones. The doctor explained that it makes my urine less acidic and increases citrate levels, which helps stop calcium from forming stones. I'm curious if anyone else has experience with this medication. How effective has it been for you? What kind of changes have you noticed in your health, and have you experienced any unusual side effects? It seems like it can be quite effective, but those potential side effects are scary! Additionally, anything you can share on how to manage the less severe side effects like diarrhea or stomach pain would be great. Thank you!
