I've been struggling with psoriasis for a while now, and my dermatologist recommended Tazarotene 0.05% Cream. I've heard it can be really effective for psoriasis, acne, and even sun-damaged skin. However, I'm a bit worried about the side effects, especially the potential for severe allergic reactions. Has anyone else used this cream? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both positive and negative. How long did it take to see results? Did you experience any side effects, and if so, how did you manage them? I've been using Tazarotene 0.1% Cream for about a month now to treat my psoriasis, and while it seems to be working, the skin irritation I'm experiencing is quite intense. It's not exactly what I would've hoped for. Prior to this I was using other creams but was recommended Tazarotene. I've had burning, dry skin, itching, peeling, redness, and scaling. My skin feels so dry that it's peeling in some places. Is this normal, or should I be concerned and talk to my doctor? I've read that skin irritation is a common side effect, but I'm not sure if I should just tough it out or if there might be a different medication that could work better for me.
