I've been prescribed Altabax 1% Ointment to treat a case of impetigo. The doctor assured me it's common and effective, but the list of possible side effects is concerning. I've started using it and am noticing some mild itching and redness. Is this normal, or should I be worried? I'm particularly scared of the severe allergic reactions mentioned. Has anyone else had similar experiences or concerns? How did you handle them? Also, are there any tips or tricks to effectively use this ointment?
