I've been taking Doxepin 50mg Capsules for about 2 months now to treat my anxiety and it's been a rollercoaster. The medication has definitely helped with my anxiety levels, but I've experienced some side effects that have been challenging to deal with. At first, I felt extremely drowsy, and I had a time of dry mouth; I've been sipping water every hour. I've also had some stomach discomfort. But the worst part is the weight gain — I've gained about 10 pounds in just two months. I know it's important to take the medication as prescribed, but I'm really struggling with these side effects. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what can I do for the weight gain? Or maybe a different medication would be better? I don't have any of the serious side effects, thank goodness, but I am curious if anyone has tips for dealing with the weight gain.
