I've been struggling with cystic acne for years, and my dermatologist recently prescribed Benzamycin Gel. I've heard mixed reviews about it, so I'm curious if anyone else has had success with this topical treatment. The gel contains erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide, which are supposed to kill bacteria and unclog pores. I've used it for a week now and haven't seen any major improvements yet, but I'm hoping it just takes time for Benzamycin to work. Has anyone else had any side effects, like dry skin or irritation, or even allergic reactions? I'm worried because it can cause severe symptoms like diarrhea or bowl problems.
