Bosentan 125mg Tablets: Sharing Experiences and Seeking Insights

I've been recently prescribed Bosentan 125mg Tablets for my pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). I'm curious to know if anyone else here has experience with this medication and how it has affected you. I've read that it can cause some severe side effects, so I'm both hopeful and a bit anxious. It's reassuring to know Bosentan works by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs, but I'm still trying to get used to the idea of taking a medication that has a warning for life-threatening side effects. Does anyone have any experience with the side effects? How have you handled them? Also, has anyone else noticed any improvements in their ability to exercise or a reduction in symptoms like shortness of breath? Looking forward to hearing from the community! Thanks for any insights and shared experiences.

My Experience with Bosentan 62.5mg Tablets: Managing Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

I've been on Bosentan 62.5mg Tablets for about 6 months now to treat my pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), and while it's been a game-changer for my ability to exercise and breathe easier, I've had a few concerns and side effects that I wasn't fully prepared for. The medication has definitely helped relax my blood vessels and reduce the strain on my heart. However, I've experienced some unexpected side effects. I was aware of the common ones like headaches and flushing, but the fluid retention has been quite challenging. I've had swelling in my ankles and wrists, and even some shortness of breath, which has been pretty alarming at times. I've also been experiencing nose irritation more than anticipated. Luckily, my doctor has been helpful in managing these symptoms with additional medication and regular check-ups. One thing that has felt really important is sticking to the prescribed dosage and timing, as well as getting those regular blood tests. It's a bit of a hassle, but definitely necessary to keep an eye on my liver and blood counts. I've also had to be extra diligent about avoiding things that can interact with Bosentan, like grapefruit juice, which isn't fun but I'm trying to adapt. It's a lot to manage, but really necessary for my quality of life. I know everyone's experience is different, but I'm curious to hear from others on Bosentan. What side effects have you experienced, and how have you managed them? Have any of you had to switch medications or adjust your dosages?
