I was recently prescribed Capozide 50/15 Tablets by my doctor to manage my high blood pressure. The combination of captopril and hydrochlorothiazide seems to be working well, but I've been a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones mentioned in the patient information sheet. Has anyone else had any issues with this medication? I'm curious to hear about your experiences and any tips for managing side effects. Also, does anyone know if the side effects, like increased thirst and passing urine, can be mitigated with diet? I've been really cautious about it, but it's been pretty manageable so far, apart from some muscle cramps. I've started taking a potassium supplement, and that seems to help. I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance here. And if you had any similar issues, I'd love to know if you had to switch or if continuing with this meds worked out.
