I was recently prescribed Capozide 50/15 Tablets by my doctor to manage my high blood pressure. The combination of captopril and hydrochlorothiazide seems to be working well, but I've been a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones mentioned in the patient information sheet. Has anyone else had any issues with this medication? I'm curious to hear about your experiences and any tips for managing side effects. Also, does anyone know if the side effects, like increased thirst and passing urine, can be mitigated with diet?

I've been really cautious about it, but it's been pretty manageable so far, apart from some muscle cramps. I've started taking a potassium supplement, and that seems to help. I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance here. And if you had any similar issues, I'd love to know if you had to switch or if continuing with this meds worked out.

I had to stop taking it because of the potassium levels. I had to try a different medication for a while. The important factor for me was not losing the benefit the medication offered. My doctor monitored me very well

I've been on Capozide for a while now, and while I've had some minor side effects, nothing too serious. The muscle cramps can be tough, but staying hydrated and taking electrolytes has helped me a lot.

I'm on the same meds and I can't feel the same effects as you. I think I'll talk with the doctor to see if I should increase the dosage.

I was really worried about the side effects when I started, but so far, so good. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and listen to your body!

Me and my doc had to change this meds because it was causing that weird side effect called hypercalcemia or something like that

I started Capozide 50/15 Tablets a few months ago, and I've been feeling pretty good. No major side effects so far, just a bit of dizziness sometimes.

Have you talked to your doctor about the crashes? I've had some odd times where I feel really lightheaded and stuff. Might be related.

I had to stop taking it because of the cough. It was persistent and really annoying. My doctor switched me to something else, and it's been fine since.

I've had some weird skin stuff going on since I started this medication. Anyone else experience anything like that?
