I've been dealing with persistent ear infections (otitis externa) for months, and my doctor finally prescribed me Cipro-HC Otic Suspension 10ml. This seems like a heavy-duty medication, what do others make of this? What are the odds of experiencing side effects and how do they compare to not treating the infection? Although the antibiotic and steroid combo should certainly kill the bacteria and reduce inflammation, I'm a bit worried after reading about the potential side effects. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this medication? Are there any recommendations or tips to mitigate any possible side effects?
