I just got prescribed Tropicamide 1% Ophthalmic Solution 15ml for an upcoming eye exam. I know it's supposed to make my pupils bigger, but what should I expect during and after the dilation? Will my vision be blurred for a long time? And I don't see any dosage instructions - how much should I use? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

My doctor prescribed me Cyclomydril Ophth Solution 2ml for an upcoming eye exam. I've never heard of this medication before and I'm a bit nervous. The side effects listed on the information sheet are quite scary. I'm not sure what to expect from using Cyclomydril. Has anyone had experience using this solution for an eye exam? It's called for dilating my pupils and relaxing the muscle in my eye, but I'd like to hear from someone who has gone through it. Also, if I do experience some of the other side effects that are not immediately life threatening, but still concerning, is it okay to call the nurse's line at my doctor's office? Or do I need to go in for an appointment?
