I was recently prescribed Firazyr (Icatibant) to manage attacks of angioedema caused by my Hereditary Angioedema (HAE). I've had HAE for over a decade, and attacks have always been a nightmare. I'd love to hear from others who've used Firazyr and their experiences. How effective has it been for you? What side effects did you encounter? Did you experience any allergic reactions or had to seek medical help? How does it compare to other treatments you've tried? I've heard it can be pricey and wanted to know if anyone has tips on managing the cost. I'm actually thinking about contacting the FDA to report a side effect I experienced recently, but now I'm second-guessing myself and worried I might be overreacting. Any advice?
