I've just been prescribed Glimepiride 2mg tablets to help manage my type 2 diabetes. My doctor said it helps my pancreas release more insulin. Has anyone else taken this medication? What side effects did you experience, if any? I'm a bit nervous about the urgent side effects listed, like severe dizziness or low blood sugar. I was recently prescribed Glimepiride 4mg Tablets to help manage my Type 2 Diabetes. It's supposed to help my body produce more insulin and use it more effectively, which is great. I've been taking it with my first meal of the day as instructed, but I've noticed some severe dizziness lately. It's not all the time, but it's frequent enough to be concerning. I've read that this can be a side effect, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how you dealt with it. I've also noticed some weight gain, which is a bit disappointing. Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
