Anybody have experience with Sodium Bicarbonate 4.2% Inj, 10ml IV drips?
I've been researching Sodium Bicarbonate for a family member. They were told this would help balance acid levels in their blood. It seems like a straightforward treatment, but I'm nervous about the potential side effects. I read that it can cause muscle spasms, trouble breathing, and even tissue damage if the IV leaks. Has anyone had personal experience with this? What was it like? Anything I should be sure to mention to the medical team? Also, how do they usually monitor for side effects? Is it common for people to feel better quickly or does it take a while?
