I recently had an unfortunate encounter with a rabid animal and was prescribed Kedrab Rabies Ig 150iu/ml Inj, 10ml, as well as rabies vaccination. The doctor explained that this medicine is made from human blood and contains antibodies to neutralize the virus at the bite site. My main concern is the possible side effects. The doctor mentioned that allergic reactions and infections are rare but can be severe. I'm also worried about blood clots, especially since I have a history of heart problems. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What were your side effects? Any tips on managing them? I just want to be prepared.
