My experiences with Valchlor 0.016% Gel for Mycosis Fungoides-type Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (MF-CTCL)

I was recently prescribed Valchlor 0.016% Gel for my Mycosis Fungoides-type Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (MF-CTCL). The gel contains mechlorethamine, a type of chemotherapy, and is applied directly to the skin to slow down or stop the growth of abnormal skin cells. It works by damaging the DNA of these cancer cells, preventing them from multiplying. The application process is straightforward, but I've been experiencing some side effects that I wasn't quite prepared for. I have noticed a bit of itching and a change in skin colour, but nothing too severe. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences and if there are any tips for managing these side effects. The urgent side effects listed on the information sheet are quite frightening, and I'm glad I haven't experienced any of those. I am hopeful that this treatment will be effective in the long run. Has anyone had any success stories with this treatment?
