I've recently been prescribed Mytesi (crofelemer) 125mg Tablets to help manage diarrhea while on antiretroviral therapy. I'm curious if anyone else here has experience with this medication. How effective has it been for you? Have you encountered any of the side effects like the common cold, cough, or gas? I'm particularly interested in hearing about any urgent side effects or allergies like rash, hives, itching, or trouble breathing. My doctor said it uses a different mechanism than other treatments by reducing water and salts in the intestines. I’m hopeful but also a bit nervous about potential reactions.
