I was prescribed Nilutamide 150mg Tablets along with surgery to remove the testicles for my metastatic prostate cancer. My oncologist explained that Nilutamide helps by blocking the effects of male hormones that can cause the cancer to grow. I'm wondering if anyone else has started this treatment and can share their experiences, especially with side effects? I've read about some serious ones, like allergic reactions and high blood pressure, but it seems rare. I'm also curious about less severe side effects, like hot flashes and hair loss. Has anyone found ways to manage these? I'm hopeful that sharing our experiences can help others navigating this treatment.
