I've just been prescribed Nitrofurant Mac 25mg Capsules for a UTI. I've never taken this antibiotic before. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria in the urine. I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects, especially the serious ones. I know it's important to finish the entire course, even if I feel better. Has anyone else used this medication? What was your experience like? I'm also curious about the more common side effects like headache, upset stomach, or diarrhea. How did you manage them?
