I was recently prescribed Nitrostat 0.3mg SL Tabs to manage my angina. I've heard a lot about nitroglycerin, but want to know what others' experiences are like. How quickly does it typically work? I've been told to place it under my tongue and let it dissolve. Any tips for making that process easier? Also, I've read about some serious side effects. How common are they really?
