I've recently been prescribed Novolin R U-100 Flexpen Inj 3ml to manage my type 1 diabetes. I've been using a different insulin pen for a while, and I'm curious about the experiences of others who have switched to this particular insulin. How quickly do you find it starts working? Any tips on managing side effects like weight gain or irritation at the injection site? Also, any advice on dosing for someone who's used to another short-acting insulin?
