I've been prescribed Opium 10mg/ml (1%) Tincture to treat severe diarrhea that hasn't responded to other treatments. I know it's a strong opioid, but I'm not sure what to expect. The side effects list is a bit scary, especially the urgent ones. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with this and can share their story or advice. Are the side effects really as bad as they sound? How did you manage them? What should I watch out for? I'm a bit nervous about the risks of addiction and breathing problems.
