I was prescribed Promethazine DM Syrup for a persistent cough and allergies. I've taken it for a few days now, and while it does help with the cough, I've been experiencing some alarming side effects. I've read about some of the potential side effects, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. I've been feeling extremely dizzy and sleepy, which is to be expected, but I've also been having trouble controlling my body movements and feelings really nervous and excitable. I've also noticed some changes in my eyesight, which is really concerning. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Should I be worried about these symptoms, or are they just minor issues that will go away? I've tried contacting my doctor, but I haven't heard back yet. In the meantime, I wanted to see if anyone on here has dealt with similar problems. I'd really appreciate any advice or insights from people who've used this medication. Thanks!
