I recently had my 16-year-old son vaccinated for meningococcal disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B bacteria, and he had a serious reaction immediately after receiving the Trumenba 0.5ml Im Pfs (5 Pack) vaccine. He developed a rash, felt dizzy, and had trouble breathing. We rushed him to the hospital, and he was treated for an allergic reaction. I want to know if anyone else has experienced similar reactions and what steps I should take next. Should I report this to the FDA/CDC? Is it safe for him to receive the second dose? What are the risks? I'm really worried about his health and want to make sure he is safe.
