I've been using Tums Smooth 750mg Chew Berry Tabs for a while now, and they've been a game-changer for my heartburn. The berry flavor is surprisingly good, and they dissolve quickly. I love that they're a calcium source too. But I've been wondering about the side effects. I haven't experienced any yet, but I've heard constipation could be a problem. Has anyone else dealt with that? I also saw that there are serious side effects to look out for, like allergic reactions. I'm not sure what to do if I notice any symptoms. Should I just stop taking them and see if it goes away, or go to the doctor immediately? I want to be safe, but I don't want to overreact either. Thoughts?
