I've recently been prescribed Acetazolamide 500mg Inj for dealing with altitude sickness. I'm planning a hiking trip to a high altitude and wanted some real-life insights into how well this drug works for others. I’ve read the info on electrolyte problems and other rare side effects. Unfortunately, the pain at the injection site scares me! I am wondering how bad it is? Can anyone share their thoughts on the injection experience? Also, I know some people take this for other reasons. What are the benefits outside of altitude sickness? Please share your experiences and tips!
