I was recently prescribed Trifluridine 1% Ophth Soln 7.5ml to treat herpes simplex keratitis. I've never had an eye infection before, let alone one caused by a virus, so I'm a bit nervous. The doctor explained that it's an antiviral eye drop that stops the virus from growing and spreading, but I'm curious to hear from others who have used it. How effective was it for you? Did you experience any side effects? Any tips on how to make the application process easier? I've read that it can cause burning or stinging, so I'm a bit concerned about that.
