I was prescribed Neo/poly/hc 1% Otic Sol Blue to treat an ear infection. I started using it a few days ago, and now I'm noticing some rashes, and hives around my ear and my neck. I've reread the leaflet, and I think I may be having an allergic reaction as described. I haven't started nursing my newborn yet, so I don't want to risk my health. I know that allergic reactions can be serious, but could I be overreacting? Also, should I stop using the drops immediately? Is it possible that this medication is giving me hives without being a full-blown allergy? I’m a little freaked out right now.
