I'm trying to learn more about Cervidil before my OB/GYN decides whether to use it to help start or speed up labor. It's described as a small, flat insert placed into the vagina to help prepare your cervix for labor. It contains a medicine called dinoprostone, which is a natural substance in your body that helps soften and open the cervix and can also start contractions. I've heard mixed reviews and am curious about others' experiences. It could be a game-changer in my delivery journey, but I want to make sure I'm well-informed and prepared. Some of the side effects can be scary. Has anyone experienced them?
