I've been recently diagnosed with wet macular degeneration and my doctor has recommended Visudyne 15mg Inj 1 Vial as a treatment option. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects and the process itself. The description says it's given by injection into your vein and then a laser is used to close off abnormal blood vessels. Has anyone here gone through this treatment? I'd love to hear about your firsthand experiences. I'm particularly concerned about the urgent side effects listed, such as allergic reactions and changes in vision.
