Hi everyone, I've just started Monoferric infusions for my severe iron deficiency anemia, after trying oral iron supplements with no success. My doctor suggested this IV treatment since I desperately need to boost my iron levels fast. I’ve had the first infusion and I'm not sure what to expect in the coming weeks. How many infusions will I need? Will I feel better quickly, or is it a slow process? I'm feeling anxious about potential side effects too, especially the allergic reactions. Has anyone else had these infusions and what was your experience? Help!
