I recently got a prescription for Tusnel Pediatric Drops for my 5-year-old who has been struggling with a persistent cough and stuffy nose. The doctor said it combines Guaifenesin and Pseudoephedrine to help with both chest congestion and nasal stuffiness. I'm curious to hear from other parents who have used this. How well did it work for your kids? Did you notice any side effects like dizziness or trouble sleeping? I was recommended the Multi-Vit/fl 0.25mg Drops by my pediatrician, a liquid vitamin supplement with fluoride for babies and young children meant to support healthy growth and development, plus help make teeth stronger and prevent cavities. The idea of giving my child medication, even a vitamins one, is making me nervous. I don't want to see my baby suffer from any serious side effects or allergic reactions, like the ones described in the medication guide: rash, hives, trouble breathing, etc. My biggest concern is that I wouldn't know what to do in case of an allergic reaction. I understand that serious side effects are rare but it's hard to shake off the worry. I've also read that fluoride can potentially cause changes in the appearance of teeth or gums. Does anyone have experience with this? I want to ensure I'm doing the right thing and giving my little one the best care possible. What should I do?
