Has anyone used Tusnel Pediatric Drops for their kids? How effective was it for chest congestion and stuffiness?
I recently got a prescription for Tusnel Pediatric Drops for my 5-year-old who has been struggling with a persistent cough and stuffy nose. The doctor said it combines Guaifenesin and Pseudoephedrine to help with both chest congestion and nasal stuffiness. I'm curious to hear from other parents who have used this. How well did it work for your kids? Did you notice any side effects like dizziness or trouble sleeping? I've been a bit worried about the urgent side effects mentioned, so any reassurance or advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, how long did it take to see improvements in your child's symptoms?

Tusnel Pediatric Drops saved my kid during a bad cold last year. I haven't seen any side effects so far. Hopefully, your little one will feel better soon!
Be careful with the dosage, it's hard to give the precise amount, kids just don't like the taste,at least mine didn't. My son had some trouble sleeping, but overall, it was worth it.
My pediatrician recommended something else for my kid, it could be a good idea to double check with them. The side effects sounded a bit too risky for my liking.
I didn't see any improvements, but maybe it just wasn't the right fit for my child. Everyone is different, so it might work for yours. Just keep an eye on those side effects, though. They sound scary.
I gave it a try, and my kid just ended up more hyper than usual. Not sure if it was the medicine or the cold, though. Might not use it again, but it depends on how bad the symptoms get.
I've had a great experience with it so far, just made sure to give the correct dose every time. Kids are so sensitive to medications. Hopefully, your child will feel better soon!
I'm not a fan of giving my kids any kind of medicine unless it's absolutely necessary. I'd recommend trying some home remedies first, like steam or saline drops, before resorting to medication.
I used it for my daughter last winter, and it worked like a charm. She was back to her usual self in a couple of days. No major side effects, just a bit fussy at night, but that could have been the cold itself. Give it a shot and see what happens.
I'm a pediatric nurse, and I've seen this work well for many kids. Just make sure to follow the dosage instructions carefully. As for side effects, keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction. If you notice any, stop using it immediately and seek medical help.
My kid had a reaction to it this year, he was having trouble breathing and then he started having trouble swallowing, we needed to go to the ER, but luckily he's ok now. I'm glad I didn't wait, symptoms can turn serious fast.
