I'm scheduled for eye surgery soon and my doctor prescribed Loteprednol 0.5% Opth Gel Drops 5gm for post-op care. I've read that it's a corticosteroid eye gel designed to reduce swelling, redness, and discomfort, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone here used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. What was the application process like? Did you have any side effects and if so, how did you deal with them?
