I've recently been prescribed Santyl 250u/gm Ointment 30gm for a persistent bedsore. The doctor says it's great for breaking down dead tissue and promoting faster healing. I've read about some potential side effects, though, and I'm a bit nervous. Has anyone else used this ointment? What were your experiences like? How did you manage any side effects that came up?
