I was recently diagnosed with scabies and prescribed Elimite 5% Cream 60gm. The experience was, well, not fun, but the cream worked well. I applied it to my skin as directed, left it on for 8-14 hours (I chose overnight because it seemed more convenient), and then washed it off. The itching stopped pretty quickly, which was a huge relief. However, I did experience some mild burning and stinging while the cream was on my skin, which was a bit uncomfortable. I also read that some people can have severe allergic reactions or eye irritation, so I made sure to be very careful. I just wanted to share my experience and any tips or advice anyone might have, and warnings to look out for!
