Arakoda 100mg Tablets: What are the necessary precautions? My doctor prescribed these for my trip to Africa but I'm nervous about side effects and dosing.
I've been prescribed Arakoda 100mg Tablets for an upcoming trip to a malaria-prone area in Africa. I've heard it's important to take this medication exactly as prescribed, especially with food. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm concerned about the serious side effects listed, including allergic reactions, hemolytic anemia, and methemoglobinemia. How strictly do I need to follow the dosing schedule? I know you can't miss a dose, but if I do, what happens? Should I take it even if I don't eat first? I'm also worried about some of the other side effects like dizziness or headache. How common are these? My trip is in a month and all the information online is a bit overwhelming.
