I've just been prescribed Ampicillin 500mg Inj. 1 Vial for a respiratory infection. I've never taken this particular antibiotic before and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else taken this and how did it go? I'm particularly worried about the more severe side effects mentioned, like allergic reactions and seizures. What should I do if I experience any of these symptoms?

I've just been prescribed Ampicillin 500mg Capsules for a urinary tract infection. I'm on day 2 and so far, so good, but I've heard that antibiotics can have some nasty side effects. I'm especially worried about the allergic reactions and that severe diarrhea thing they mentioned. Anyone else been through this? Any tips for dealing with potential side effects? Also, how long did it take for your infection to clear up? I just want this to be over with as soon as possible!
