I've just been prescribed Ampicillin 500mg Inj. 1 Vial for a respiratory infection. I've never taken this particular antibiotic before and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I cringed at the side effects too, but I did okay. My doctor told me to expect some stomach issues, but I got through it. Maybe someone else will share their story with that too.
I took Ampicillin for a urinary infection, and it worked well. I had diarrhea but managed it with my doctor's help. Serious side effects are rare so don't worry too much, just stay aware.
I took Ampicillin for a skin infection last year. I didn't experience any severe side effects, just a bit of an upset stomach. Make sure to take it as prescribed and finish the course, even if you feel better. Also, keep an eye out for any signs of an allergic reaction—better safe than sorry!
I had to stop taking Ampicillin because of mouth sores. It was really unpleasant. Dread to think what the other side effects are like. Good luck!
