I cringed at the side effects too, but I did okay. My doctor told me to expect some stomach issues, but I got through it. Maybe someone else will share their story with that too.
I took Ampicillin for a urinary infection, and it worked well. I had diarrhea but managed it with my doctor's help. Serious side effects are rare so don't worry too much, just stay aware.
