I recently started chemotherapy with Etoposide 20mg/ml Inj, 25ml and have been experiencing some side effects. I'm looking for advice on how to manage them and if anyone else has had similar experiences. The drug is given as an injection into a vein and works by stopping cancer cells from growing and dividing. I've heard it can cause some serious side effects like allergic reactions, infections, and bleeding issues. I'm especially worried about the potential for severe skin reactions and changes in blood pressure. Has anyone had these issues? If so, how did you cope? Also, I've been told to watch for redness or swelling at the injection site, which can cause tissue damage if the medication leaks. How common is this, and what should I do if it happens?
