I recently started taking Etoposide (VP-16) 50mg Capsules as part of my cancer treatment regimen. I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. How have your side effects been? What tips do you have for managing them? What other medications have you taken alongside Etoposide and how was your experience with them? Please share anything you think can help others.

I've been on Etoposide for a few months now, and the fatigue is real. But my oncologist suggested some gentle exercises, and that's helped a lot. Also, ginger tea has been a lifesaver for the nausea.

I lost a significant amount of hair, which was tough, but my doctor recommended a few products that have made it more manageable. Just wanted to share that in case anyone else is dealing with this.

This medication saved my life. It's tough, but when you think about it, it's a small price to pay for a chance to survive. My advice: stick with it and trust your medical team.

I had to stop taking it because of severe allergic reactions. If anyone else has experienced this, please reach out. I want to know if there are any alternative treatments.

Anyone else experiencing severe back pain? I'm trying to figure out if it's a side effect or something else.

Etoposide was one of the worst parts of my treatment. But the worst was the cocktail of other drugs it was combined with. I hope things are better now. But what I am surprised is that they didn't warn me about the blood pressure issues.

Don't laugh, but the hair loss was the straw that broke the camel's back. But not as bad as the hives and swelling! Thank goodness for my doctor and the antihistamine he prescribed. Cheers to all of you and thank you for your support.

My wife is currently on Etoposide, and we're finding it really hard to deal with the nausea. Any tips on how to manage it?

I wish I had known about the severe skin reactions before starting Etoposide. It was so scary when it first happened, but my doctor managed it quickly. Be aware of the signs and get help if you see any.

I didn't experience any serious side effects, but I did have a lot of mouth sores. My mom suggested using a soft toothbrush and it really helped. Some people suggested that it is a good idea to rinse your mouth with a mixture of baking soda and water.
