I'm currently undergoing treatment with Etoposide 100mg/5ml Injection for a cancer diagnosis. I've read about the possible side effects like hair loss and fatigue, but I'm curious about how others have managed these symptoms. Have any of you experienced severe reactions? How did your healthcare team support you? Also, how is this drug administered, and what should I expect during the injection process? I'm particularly concerned about the risk of tissue damage if the medication leaks from the vein. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to add that the nurses did a great job of making the experience less scary. They walked me through everything and made a bunch of jokes. It helped me laugh and release some of the anxiety.

I had no clue what I was in for when I started this. But the care team was amazing and so thorough. They answered all my questions and when I started to feel really sick, they were available for immediate support. Listen to your doctor and nurses, they know what they’re talking about.

The injection process is pretty straightforward. They clean the area, insert the needle, and start the drip. It's important to stay still and follow the nurse's instructions to prevent any issues. I'm worried about the tissue damage too, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the injection site.

I know it's tough, but try to stay positive. I've seen people go through this and come out stronger on the other side.

I know this is scary, but just remember that early detection and treatment can make a big difference. Etoposide has some intense side effects, but it helped my cousin go into remission.
