PSA: Check your Zoho Books. Founder says failed payments were marked “paid”, lost real money

Saw this in the news — FlexyPe founder is filing a legal complaint after Zoho Books allegedly marked failed UPI payments as “paid”. Zoho says “issue was not from Zoho Books”, but worth auditing if you run a small biz. I checked mine: 2 mismatches from March. ₹4,200 total. Support ticket raised. Indian founders/freelancers: What accounting software do you actually trust now? Tally? QuickBooks? Spreadsheets and prayer?

NASA just dropped Artemis II Earth photos and I’m not okay. “Good morning, world” hits different from lunar orbit

Crew of 4 launched April 1st. First human Earth pics from that far out since Apollo. Look at this shot:No borders, no nonsense. Just us. Anyone else getting serious Overview Effect from their couch? My existential crisis is scheduled for 3pm today. What’s the first thing you’d say if you saw Earth like that? Why it works: Artemis II is fresh. Space subs love “pale blue dot” moments + open-ended questions.

Starling vs OpenFL in 2026 — still worth using for 2D mobile games?

I’m prototyping a 2D mobile game and debating engines. Starling’s whole pitch is hardware-accelerated 2D on GPU via Stage3D and it mimics the Flash display list. But with AIR still around and newer options out there, is anyone shipping new Starling games in 2026? I like that it’s lightweight and the source is easy to read, but I’m worried about long-term support vs switching to Unity/Godot. If you’ve used Starling recently: what’s the biggest caveat you hit? For me right now it’s converting display objects to BitmapData. Why it works: Dev forums love “is X still good” + specific technical detail to show you did homework.

How to Fully Automate a Kaggle Notebook that Requires a Kernel Restart Mid-Run for Library Installation

I've been working on a Kaggle notebook that requires installing a custom library mid-run, which necessitates a kernel restart. This is a huge pain, especially when trying to automate the entire process. I've tried using `!pip install` and then `importlib.reload()` but it doesn't seem to work as expected. Has anyone found a reliable way to fully automate this process? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

How will error handling in PHP evolve by 2025? New standards, best practices, and tools!

As we approach 2025, I'm curious about the future of error handling in PHP. Will we see new standards or best practices emerge? What tools or libraries might become indispensable for developers? I've been using try-catch blocks and custom error handlers, but I'm eager to know if there are more advanced techniques on the horizon. How do you envision error handling in PHP evolving in the next few years, and what steps are you taking to prepare?

Awe-insiring Review: Taj Lands End, Mumbai – A Hidden Gems

I recently stayed at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's architecture and interiors are breathtaking, blending colonial charm with modern luxury. The room was spacious and well-equipped, offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea. The service was impeccable, with staff always ready to go the extra mile. The food was exceptional, particularly the seafood at the Bayview Restaurant. The only drawback was the noise from the nearby road, which could be a bit disturbing at night. Overall, a 4.5/5 star experience.

Taj Land's End Mumbai Review: Is It Worth The Stay?

I recently stayed at the Taj Land's End in Mumbai and was blown away by the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The service was impeccable, and the rooms were luxurious. However, I felt the breakfast buffet could have offered more variety. Has anyone else stayed here and had a similar experience? Worth the price?

I've narrowed it down to a few but I'd love to hear from locals or frequent visitors what their top 10 list looks like. I'm looking for a mix of fine dining and casual eats and am open to anything! Hopefully, you guys can help me finalize my list and tell me about any must-try dishes.

New Study Links Microplastics in Water to Increased Cancer Risk

A recent study published in the journal *Science* has found a disturbing link between microplastic ingestion via water and an increased risk of certain cancers. The study, conducted over five years, tracked over 10,000 participants and found that those with higher levels of microplastics in their systems were more likely to develop cancer. This raises serious questions about water safety and the long-term effects of microplastic pollution. How concerned should we be, and what steps can we take to protect ourselves?

Career opportunities in the shadow of the Iran-Israel conflict: Where can experts thrive?

As tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate, I can’t help but wonder about the career opportunities that exist in this complex geopolitical environment. Are there fields where experts can thrive despite the conflict? How can professionals navigate the risks and uncertainties associated with this region? For instance, I've heard that cybersecurity is a booming field in both countries, but what about other areas like diplomacy, intelligence, and international relations? Is there anyone here with experience in these sectors who can share some insights?
