I'm planning a trip to New York and I've heard so much about the incredible food scene. I've been looking at lists of the top restaurants and there are so many amazing options. I've narrowed it down to a few but I'd love to hear from locals or frequent visitors what their top 10 list looks like. I'm looking for a mix of fine dining and casual eats and am open to anything! Hopefully, you guys can help me finalize my list and tell me about any must-try dishes.

I think the best restaurants are the ones that have a great story behind them, like The Spotted Pig. It's all about the experience!

If you're into pizza, you have to check out Lombardi's. It's a classic New York slice, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Plus it's one of the first pizzerias in America.

You can't go wrong with Keens Steakhouse for a classic NY experience. Their mutton chops are incredible. Don't skip dessert—try the bread pudding!

I'd steer clear of any place that has a line out the door. Those are usually tourist traps. Go for places that are packed with locals instead.

Honestly, to me, the best part of NYC is the street food. Hot dogs, pretzels, you name it. So much flavor on the go.

You have to try the cheesecake at Junior's. It's legendary, and they have a ton of fun flavors. A perfect treat to end a long day of sightseeing.

Katz's Deli for pastrami on rye. Need I say more? It's a must-visit for any foodie.
